Tony was the creator of the Australian Gas Alliance that successfully forced Sydney Gas to remove its coal seam gas operations for the Dooralong Valley. He also obtained a victory in the wardens court on behalf of the Gatenby family against Sydney Gas.
Tony and Kelly were also part of the legal team that stopped the building of the Tilligra Dam at Dungog.
